Label created for Wine52, I wanted to bring together something deeply personal: my roots, half Genoese and half Sicilian.
Behind the illustration lies a childhood memory. Every time my grandmother returned from Sicily, she would bring me a small cart with a black horse. It was a simple gift, yet for me it carried the scent of summer holidays, family gatherings, and the stories hidden within the vibrant imagery of traditional Sicilian carts.
Over time, that memory stayed with me and eventually transformed into this illustration. Seeing it take shape on a wine label feels especially meaningful, turning a personal memory into something that can travel and be shared.
Special thanks to Art Director Ashley Johnston for the trust.
