I had the privilege of illustrating an article for Glug magazine's Emilia Romagna issue, celebrating Europe's finest wines. Art Director Emlyn Firth, familiar with my work, entrusted me with capturing the essence of Bolognese wineries and their connection to the city and its residents. My illustration depicts a bustling square where people from diverse backgrounds and social classes enjoy a variety of wines, whether seated in restaurants or standing on the lively streets. Having lived in Bologna during my studies, I aimed to convey the vibrant atmosphere and the joyous spirit of individuals savoring excellent wines. It was a delightful assignment that allowed me to showcase the diverse and inclusive wine culture of Bologna.
