illustration inspired by the text by Dino Buzzati
Epic cycling is a project that includes stories and illustrations. The stories are original, written by members of Collettivo Linea S and inspired by episodes more or less famous, more or less strange, about the life and career of people linked to the history of cycling, like Alfredo Binda, Alfonsina Strada, the blind masseur Biagio Cavanna or like the little-known japanese that, in 1965, set the world record for time spent in balance on a standing bike. These stories are illustrated by ten different illustrators who, thanks to their sensitivity and imagination, gives life to the characters and to the situations of the episodes. All the ten illustrations have been exhibited for the first time at the la fabbrica illustrata, an exhibition located in the Library Edmundo De Amicis, Genoa
